Rotary International District Governor R. B. Richey was the special guest speaker at the Bladenboro Rotary Club meeting on Monday, August 21st.

Governor Richey focused on the theme for this year Rotary: Making a Difference. In his presentation he stressed the importance of bringing in new members under the age of 40 into the organization.

Governor Richey said Rotary was losing approximately 12 percent of its members each year. In order for Rotary International to survive, Rotarians must make a difference by encouraging the younger generation to join.
