Unsettled weather will continue through mid-week with a low risk of localized flash flooding and damaging winds/tornado. Drier and warmer conditions expected late week.
Hazards and Impacts
Land: Slight (at least 15%) Risk of flash flooding through tonight for the entire area with a bit less risk Tue/Wed; Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) of isolated damaging winds/tornado for much of SE NC & NE SC today; Low risk for minor coastal flooding along the lower Cape Fear River tonight
Marine: Small Craft Advisory for nearshore waters through Tuesday
Surf Zone: Moderate to High risk of rip currents today, High Risk Tuesday, and likely Moderate Risk for some beaches through Friday
