There will be a Safe Prescriber Training at Vineland Station in Whiteville on Tuesday, June 5th. The event is free and takes place from 5 until 7:30 p.m. A meal will be served.
The speakers for the evening will be Robert “Chuck” Rich Jr., MD and Kim Thrasher, PharmD, BCAC, FCCP, CPP. The event will focus on the new Centers for Disease Control opioid guidelines, better understanding opioid therapy and who to effectively determine if continued therapy is warranted.
