The Salvation Army has been feeding families at the Bladenboro Fire Department.

Allen Adkins of the Salvation Army of Morgantown, West Virginia was joined by a crew from Alabama. The Salvation Army crew has been there to assist with the storm since Thursday, Oct. 6. 

Adkins said the men were basing their operation out of the Wilmington Salvation Army.

Currently there are three Salivation Army feeding stations in our region. They are serving meals in Bladenboro, Whiteville, and Fair Bluff.

Adkins aid they were averaging 1000 meals a day per canteen for the area.
