The Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce learned about the various services offered by Sandhills Behavioral Services. The business is located at 119 Courthouse Drive, Elizabethtown.
Robert Smith, owner of Sandhills Behavioral Services, said his company offers a variety of mental health and substance abuse services. They also provide transportation for their clients to attend meetings and appointments.
Smith said he understands the difficulties individuals experience in dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues.
The center provides DWI services in English and Spanish, an intensive outpatient substance abuse program, after school programs, drug testing, a sex offender program, and more. Smith said the center also provides regular individual mental health counseling for the individual, family and in groups. Smith said his staff is also able to assist clients who are dealing with opioid-related issues.
Smith told the Chamber that Sandhills Behavioral Services is a member of Eastpoint’s network and Trillium’s network.
