Santa is coming to a small town near you to help spread some Christmas cheer. Clarkton Fire Department’s Captain, Tony Higgins, and Bladen County Fire Marshal, Kenneth Clark, have organized a special parade.
On Monday evening, local fire stations across Bladen County will ride throughout the small towns with Santa in tow.
Fire Marshal Clark announced some fire departments will be driving around with Santa in firetrucks for a little extra Christmas boost. He said Covid-19 has put a damper on Santa meetings and Christmas parades. The fire departments want to spread some cheer.
Captain Higgins stated, “We are going to ride around neighborhoods and wave at kids. I have an elf and our little puppy riding with us.”
Children should be on the lookout cause Santa is checking his list twice tonight.
