Clarkton First Baptist Church had a visitor from the North Pole Sunday evening. Mr. Kris Kringle, better known as Santa Claus, attended the church’s children’s Christmas party. Santa read the story of Jesus’ birth then handed out gifts, all to the delight of children and adults alike.

After a lot of fun and much picture-taking, Santa had to leave so he could get back to work. But he was heard to say, as he walked out of sight, “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
