Fayetteville’s Zack Blackwell capped Dublin’s Saturday night racing program by taking the checkered flag in the Late Model Race. Dunn’s Shaun Sewell finished second. Robbie Turner took third place –his third top three finish at Dublin this season. Lumberton’s Zack Cox who won the April 15th Late Model Race at Dublin placed fourth this week.

Andy Boahn won the Open Wheel Modified race. Boahn finished second in the Southeast Dirt Open Wheel Modified Series race on April 29th at Dublin. Wayne Gray finished second Saturday night, and Ashland, VA’s Ryan Toole was third.

Myrtle Beach’s Benji Thompson returned to the winner’s circle Saturday night in the Super Street race. Thompson had won the Super Street event at Dublin on April 15th. Michael Freeman finished second, Johnny Moore who had won the last two Super Street races at Dublin took third place.

Ryan Gilbert claimed his third straight Dublin victory in Saturday’s Pure Stock race. Parkton’s Elvin Matthews was runner-up in Pure Stock at Dublin for the third consecutive race. Matthews won the April 15th Pure Stock at Dublin. Rick Razillard finished third Saturday in Pure Stock.

Dillon Thompson captured first place in Saturday night’s U-Car race. Glenn Register who had already won two Dublin U-Car races this season finished second. Larry Eldridge took third place.

Racing returns to Dublin Saturday night, May 20th with a full scheduled including Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Super Street, Pure Stock and U-Car. Pits open at 4 p.m. with grandstand opening at 5 p.m.
