A second person has surrendered in connection to a string of White Lake larcenies.

“Approximately 10:30 p.m. on January 6, 2016, Emily Brooke Thornton, 19, turned herself in to the Elizabethtown police where she was served the outstanding warrants for arrest pertaining to the larceny and possession of stolen goods charges at White Lake,” said White Lake Police Sgt. Salmon.

Thornton was released on a $5,000 secured bond, according to Salmon.

He added that the third suspect, David Lee Russ, 19, has been in contact with law enforcement officials and has made arrangements to turn himself in.

According to Salmon, the White Lake Police Department began investigating a series of larcenies that took place between October 25 and November 7, 2015.   The investigation revealed the suspects were stealing kayaks, yard swings, and lawn mowers, then utilizing social media websites to sell the items, according to Salmon.
