The Bladen County Division on Aging conducted a Harvest Day event on Thursday. The day was planned for fun, food and fellowship.

Seniors could choose from a variety of games including Pickle Ball, Croquet, Corn Hole and Bingo, said Kelly Robeson, Director for the Division on Aging. They also enjoyed a barbecue plate lunch which consisted of barbecue, baked beans, slaw and roll. The public can also purchase plates form the senior center at a cost of $5 each.

Carol Mitchell with Division on Aging said the Bladen Baptist Association WMU contributed Bingo Grab bags to be used as prizes for the Bingo game.

Robeson thanked the sponsors for the day’s event. They were Anderson’s Drug Store, Giorgio’s Restaurant, Burney’s Sweets and More, Robeson Well Drilling, Bladen Baptist Association WMU, and Sam’s Club.

Mitchell said the day offers Seniors an opportunity for good food, fellowship and games.
