East Arcadia Mayor William Perry Blanks filed for re-election Wednesday. Robert Johnson Britt also filed for a seat on the Dublin Town Council. (He is one of three running for 2 positions on the board.)
Incumbents David Kirby and David Hursey, III filed earlier this week.
Everette Butler, Sarah Jane Benson, and Patricia P. (Patsi) Callihan are seeking 4 year terms on the Bladenboro Town Commissioners board. Benson is completing a four year term, Callihan was appointed to fill an unexpired term but decided to seek a four year term.
Bladenboro voters will elect 3 commissioners for a 4 year term and one to an unexpired two year term. Donald (Don) Edwards White, Jr. filed for the two year term earlier.
The filing deadline is 12 noon Friday. Filing headquarters is the Bladen County Board of Elections, located on Cypress Street, behind the Elizabethtown Post Office.
