The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide. On Wednesday, December 6th, 2017, at approximately 5:31 p.m. the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an unknown situation at 84 Ida’s Lane, Clarkton, according to Captain Jeff Singletary. Upon arrival, deputies located Charles Leon Leach, 60 years of age, of Clarkton, deceased in the residence. Investigators determined foul play to be a part of the investigation, according to Captain Singletary.
At this time, no other details are being released, but the investigation is ongoing and we will share updates as new information becomes available, said Captain Singletary.
