The Elizabethtown Police Department is actively seeking the whereabouts of a suspect wanted in an early December shooting.

According to Lt. D. Cheshire, officers are still seeking the location of Curtis Sanders Cromartie.

“We have got him entered as wanted nationwide,” said Lt. Cheshire.

He added Cromartie’s information has been entered into the National Crime Center Database. Lt. Cheshire said there are two felony warrants that have been filed against Cromartie.

Cromartie is a suspect in a shooting that occurred at a residence located on Nobie Street on December 3 at 6:58 p.m. Lt. Cheshire said the Elizabethtown Police Department received a report of a subject who had been shot at that location.

Cromartie is wanted for felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and for felony discharging a weapon into an occupied property.
