Singletary Lake State Park is set to celebrate the NC State Parks Centennial on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. All events are free and special access will be allowed Saturday only to celebrate the NC State Parks Centennial.
Events will include a Carolina Bay Hike at 10 a.m.; Canoe the Shoreline programs at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Data on CCC uninterrupted from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
While you are there you can also learn about the various species that inhabit the park, learn more about the Carolina Bays, catch various species that inhabit the waters of Singletary Lake and conquer the “Singletary Lake Adventure.”
Hot Dogs and drinks will be available for purchase and there will be free S’Mores.
