The June 2019 Bladen Community College Small Business Center Seminars offered by Bladen Community College in Dublin, NC have been announced.
The Small Business Center (SBC) of Bladen Community College is excited to
announce a youth summer entrepreneurial camp this month!

As part of the BCC Community Service Program’s Youth Summer Camps. The
Small Business Center is proud to be offering the Young Entrepreneur Camp. Do
you have a youth that is wanting to start their own business one day?

Could be grass cutting, babysitting, a new idea in a website, what about dog walking or even an idea that they are just thinking about? If so then this class is for your camper.

The camp is from 8AM-12PM for the four days from June 24-27 for $30
per participant. It is designed for rising middle school students in 7th – 9th

The Main Campus is hosting two livestream non-profit and church oriented
seminars. First, on Thursday June 13th from 6 – 8PM in Building 2, Room 202,
Johnny Wilson of Fayetteville Urban Ministry is presenting “Developing
Organizational By-Laws.” This seminar will help any church or non-profit
organization write their by-laws the way they need them.

Second, on Thursday June 20th from 6 – 8PM in Building 2, Room 202, Sam
Gore of Towards a Fruitful Ministry is presenting “Parliamentary Procedures
Made Easy.” This seminar will help any church or non-profit organization address Robert’s Rules of Order and how to successful run movies.

The new Small Business Incubator in Elizabethtown at 207 E Broad St is hosting
a livestream from 1:30-3:00 PM on Tuesday June 18th on “Networking Online for
Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs.” Wanda Bennett of Work on Wonderful will present online alternatives to traditional networking.

Finally, the SBC is pleased to announce a monthly conference call to assist small
businesses marketing in rural areas. Register online for the information to
participate on Friday June 14 th from 10:30-11:30AM for “Rural Marketing
Roundup: Importance of Signage” to talk about different ways to take advantage
of different types of signage to market your business in rural markets.
All seminars/webinars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to
special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen
Community College.
