A Staff Report
Lane Greene, the current owner, shared the history and values that define Bladen Builders Supply: “Bladen Builders is, and has always been, a family-owned and operated business.”
For the past two decades, Bladen Builders Supply has thrived at its current location in Elizabethtown. The family also operated a lumber mill in its early years, which complemented the builders’ supply business. Even after the lumber mill ceased operations, the builders’ supply services continued.
Bladen Builders Supply (BBS) is a proud member of the Do It Best Corporation, a member-owned cooperative specializing in hardware, lumber, and building materials, ranking as the second-largest corporation in the industry. Lane emphasized, “We have established decades-long relationships with most of our suppliers. These relationships, combined with the consistency of our supply chain vendors, have played a pivotal role in meeting our customers’ needs. Our experienced, knowledgeable staff and our unwavering commitment to personalized service set us apart.”
Owner Greene’s mission is clear: “Our goal is to provide our customers with the finest products, the most competitive prices, and the best service, from in-store ordering to on-time job site delivery. To achieve this, we continuously evaluate new products, attend industry trade shows, invest in staff training, and seek innovative ways to market our business while improving our internal operations.”
Lane expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am immensely grateful for our talented staff and the loyal, experienced contractors, and skilled builders who have consistently supported our business, providing valuable advice on our path forward. We are deeply appreciative of the community’s support and continuously strive to justify our customers’ loyalty to Bladen Builders.”
