Located in the heart of Dublin is a smokehouse and grill, cleverly called “Que-T-Butts,” and offering southern flavor and atmosphere to locals. According to owner Jeffrey Smith, this restaurant started with a purpose and much inspiration.

When asked about his inspiration, Smith responds, “My Mom, Chip Allen (a Tarheel High School classmate who started JD’s BBQ chain in Woodstock, Georgia), and the history and desire to carry on the legacy of the location, giving back to the community I grew up in.”

Que-T-Butts serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and offers specials daily. The restaurant is active on social media, sharing specials, deals, new items, and more regularly. To stay up to date on the happenings at Que-T-Butts, check out their Facebook here: QueTButts.

The restaurant first opened in October of 2020, and has been serving locals and those passing through ever since. Before it all started, the owners had a goal. This is how Smith describes it: “To be the best BBQ restaurant with a Cracker Barrel-style atmosphere, and also to create a place where friends can gather for breakfast and start their day over a cup of coffee and a traditional southern breakfast.”

Smith was born and raised in Dublin and has been here his entire life, aside from living in Atlanta, Georgia for seven years prior to graduating college. He explained, “Atlanta is where I became the luckiest man in the world meeting my wife Holly of 28 years.” Fast-forward to present time, the Smiths manage four corporations and are full-time entrepreneurs.

Well known chef, celebrity, and restaurant owner, Paula Deen, even had some words to share about Que-T-Butts in Dublin. Check it out: https://fb.watch/atxnuKW7Eh/.

Lastly, Smith says, “We enjoy bringing out the best in everyone, and look forward to serving you.”

Que-T-Butts is located at 7459 Albert Street in Dublin. Visit the local eatery Monday through Thursday from 7 am until 8:30 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 7 am until 9 pm.
