Billows of smoke were reported on Mercer Mill Road near Elizabethtown on Tuesday morning. The smoke was not a cause for alarm as it was the result of a controlled burn.
Farmers have been burning fields around the county in preparation for planting of new crops. BladenOnline.com will report any further information should the situation change.
