Bladen County has received more snow this year than most years. Schools have been canceled and some may be wondering what to do on this snow day.
Snow cream is always a good, fast, tasty treat. We thought we would share the recipe for the refreshing cream.
You will need the following ingredients:
8 c. clean snow
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Then in a large mixing bowl, stir together sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Add snow, 1 cup at a time, stirring until all ingredients have been added; continue adding snow until an ice cream-like texture has been reached. You may need as much as 8 cups of snow.
You can enjoy the treat immediately.
