TABOR CITY – Senior Anna Suggs pitched a 2-hitter and struck out five batters to lead South Columbus to a 15-0 Three Rivers Conference softball victory over West Bladen Friday night.

Senior Caila Turbeville slugged a home run and a double and batted 3-3 with 3 runs batted in and 2 runs scored to lead the Lady Stallions. Freshman Peyton Duncan batted 2-3 with an rbi and 2 runs scored. Senior Tressie McQueen batted 2-5 with 3 rbi’s.

Junior Kyla Reed connected for the only two West Bladen hits.

“We lost tonight to a very good team,” said Lady Knight Coach Pam Stephens.

West Bladen, now 4-2 in league play and 5-2 overall, will travel to East Bladen Tuesday night.
