BLADENBORO – Junior Jenna Bullard pitched a no-hitter and struck out 10 batters to lead Whiteville to a 10-0 Three Rivers Conference softball victory over West Bladen on Saturday.

Bullard walked two batters and hit two batters.

An error, a fielder’s choice and two-out singles by Brooklyn Slater and Gabby Hayes snapped a scoreless tie in the fourth inning and put Whiteville up 1-0. Three hits and an error led to two more runs for the visitors in the fifth inning.

The Lady Wolfpack added four runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh inning.

Sophomore Shelby Pharr started and pitched into the sixth inning for West Bladen, then received relief help from sophomore Taylor West.

Bullard batted 2-for-2, and Kiara Wilson turned in a 2-for-3 game with an RBI and a run scored. Slater was also 2-for-3. Marissa Ivey finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and a run scored.
