The rains came early Tuesday morning but cleared up at 10 a.m. to allow 79 golfers to participate in the Tuesday, March 28, Southeastern Fellowship Senior Golf Association Tourney held at Vineyard Golf At White Lake. A new record was set at Vineyard Golf with the largest amount of golfers ever, 79, in a regular season tournament.
The winning team, with a score of 52, was John Barkley, Jimmy Hedgepeth, Charles Bridger and Barry Kelly. The next tournament is scheduled for Land O’ Lakes Golf Course near Whiteville.
