NCSE logo w taglineEight new private and governmental entities will lend their technical, financial and leadership support to The Southeastern Partnership as new investors and board members. The Elizabethtown-based regional economic development partnership unites local government and business leaders across 16 counties in a coordinated strategy of marketing the regional nationally and globally for job creation and business attraction.

“North Carolina’s Southeast is proud to have these key organizations on board as we continue building a true public-private partnership that is keenly focused on bringing jobs, companies and opportunities to our region,” said Jeff Etheridge, chairman of The Southeastern Partnership. “Their leadership will add immeasurable energy, credibility and creative firepower to our mission.”
The Partnership welcomes the following new private and public investors:

Atlantic Telephone Membership Corporation – Whitney King, a board member of Atlantic Telephone and owner of King Farming.
Columbus Regional Healthcare Systems — Carla Hollis, President and CEO.
Sampson Bladen Oil Company – President Haddon Clark.
Onslow County and Jacksonville Onslow Economic Development Corporation — Ed Garris, Market President of Yadkin Bank.
Wayne County and Wayne County Development Alliance — Crystal Gettys, President of the Wayne County Economic Development Alliance.
Other new board members to the Partnership include:

Cape Fear Farm Credit — Senior Vice-President Tammy Mitten.
Pender County — David Williams, Chairman of the County’s board of commissioners.
Wilmington International Airport – Airport Director Julie Wilsey.
Headquartered in Elizabethtown, The Southeastern Partnership serves “to provide strong economic development leadership in southeastern North Carolina through innovative marketing and collaborative regional initiatives that will support the creation of new jobs, generate capital investment and secure new business locations.”
