Easy Peach Dessert
-Fresh North Carolina peach slices
(1 cup per serving)
-Lemon juice or ascorbic acid
-Sugar or Sweetener (optional)
(1 per serving)
-Whipped topping or ice cream
Sprinkle peach slices with lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sweetener. Mix and set aside. Toast waffles. Spoon seasoned peaches onto hot waffle. Top with ice cream or whipped topping. Sprinkle with nuts and top with a peach slice, if desired.
