FAYETTEVILLE- Southern Chaos ’06 won the Top Gun Summer Heat Series Softball Tournament Saturday at Arnette Park. Bladen County’s Addie Bowen, Lena Trinidad and Martha Simmons are members of the Southern Chaos team.

The Southern Chaos team that is based in Lumberton lost their first game in pool play to the Hope Mills Hotshots 06 5-1 but bounced back to pound the Carolina Outlaws from Mammers 11-2.

In bracket play Southern Chaos rolled past the Hope Mills Hot Shots 08 13-0 then avenged their pool play loss with a 9-3 victory over the Hotshots 06.

In the championship game Southern Chaos blitzed the Diamond Dreams D-Stroyers from Linden by a 10-0 score.
