TABOR CITY – Bladen County pounded Columbus County 28-9 Sunday in the District 2 Dixie Youth Baseball Coach-Pitch Tournament.Cole Brisson and Dillon Brisson ignited a 5-run, first-inning with singles. TABOR CITY – Elizabethtown rode a 7-run, third-inning explosion to an 8-0 lead and eventual 12-1 victory over South Columbus Saturday in the District 2 Dixie Youth Baseball Coach-Pitch Supplemental Tournament.
Aiden Trinidad smashed a first-inning double and raced home on Jaylen Smith’s single to centerfield that put Elizabethtown ahead 1-0. READ MORE

Lil Knights Basketball Camp scheduled
The Lil Knights Basketball Camp is scheduled for July 10, 11 and 12 from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. daily. Activities will include skills and fundamentals with age appropriate goals, working with high school coaches and college players, and games will be played each day.
Cost of the camp is $60 per child and includes basketball and T-shirt. READ MORE

Wednesday, friends and family hosted a celebration in his honor at the home of Coach Russell and Doll Priest in Elizabethtown.

East Bladen Football Summer Work-outs Begin Tuesday
East Bladen Coach Robby Priest has announced that Eagle football summer work-outs will begin Tuesday, June 12 from 5-7 p.m. Players should bring cleats, shoes and make sure they have an updated physical on file.
According to Coach Priest, the summer work-outs are not required nor mandatory, but are strongly encouraged. READ MORE

East Bladen Dominates All-Conference Girls Soccer Selections
East Bladen’s Lady Eagles dominated the All-Three Rivers Conference girls soccer selections with Ashley Hardin being named the league’s Player of the Year, Coach Jay Raynor honored as Coach of the Year and four more Lady Eagles receiving first team All-TRC honors.
Other first team Lady Eagle All-Conference picks included senior Hannah Devane, junior Ting Lin, sophmore Patience Ward and junior Sarah Johnson. West Bladen’s Glorimar Cruz-Pagon was also chosen to the All-Conference team. READ MORE

Cashwell batted a sizzling .466 for the Lady Knights and knocked in 38 runs.
