The United Way of Bladen County held their first annual St Patrick’s Day Fun Day on Saturday at Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery in Elizabethtown. There were games, information booths, and plenty of fun for everyone who came out to enjoy the day. There were bounce houses and face painting and folks were even encouraged to enjoy the petting zoo.

During the intermission, BladenOnline.com General Manager Erin Smith and Account Executive Tonya Shaw presented a check to United Way of Bladen County’s Christy Sasser. The check was a portion of the proceeds from the printing of the Bladen County Beautiful magazine. The United Way funds will go to benefit members of Bladen County.

There were several vendors who offered all manner of items for sale including baked goods, clothing, and booths filled with information.  Jason Jackson and Randall Canady took to the stage during the morning and kept the crowd entertained with their brand of Country and Rock music. They were followed by Will Jones who performed several favorite ballads during the afternoon.

If you were not able to attend the St Patricks Day Fun Day but would like to make a donation, contact Christy Sasser at 910-991-6751.
