The 55th Annual Meeting of Star Communications will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center, 414 Warsaw Road, Clinton, NC.
Star members are urged to attend the meeting that begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Cross Country Comedy will provide the entertainment. The duo of Boyd Tweedy and R. L. (Peanut) Hullum have performed at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri and have appeared on “Swan’s Place” with Rev. Dennis Swanberg. The pair reside in Petal, Mississippi.
The business meeting will include the election of three members of the Board of Directors. Members will also receive an update on the status of Star Communications. Robert G. Hester, President of the Board of Directors and Lyman Horne, Executive Vice-President and General Manager, will have comments and a representative of the company’s audit firm will make comments.
Members will be eligible for numerous door prizes at the end of the meeting. Ticket holders must be present to win.
