Representatives of Star Telephone Membership Corporation were in Washington, DC recently to meet with area Congressman and Senators on telcom issues.
The primary issue was related to the the continued delay of action by the FCC on Universal Service issues for local telephone cooperatives nationwide.
Star representatives met with Rep. David Rouzer, and representatives of Congressman Renee Elmers and Walter Jones.
