CLARKTON – The 2024 North Carolina Diamond Youth Baseball AAA (Minors) Division I State Tournament will begin Saturday at 10 a.m. with 6 games scheduled at the Clarkton DYB Complex.

There will not be a Bladen County team in the tournament. Bladen County elected not to play in the state, so Columbus County, who plays in District 2 along with Bladen County, will be the host team. South Columbus is the District 2 representative in the tournament. Representing District 9 in the tournament will be Lumberton.

The double-elimination tournament will continue with games daily and will culminate with the championship game set for Thursday, July 11th.

Saturday, July 6
Field 1
Game 1: Wilmington Supper Optimist vs. Bessemer City, 10 a.m.
Game 3: Hope Mills vs. Stanley, noon
Game 5: Columbus County vs. Topsail, 2 p.m.
Field 2
Game 2: South Columbus vs. Lumberton, 10 a.m.
Game 4: East Duplin vs. West Chatham, noon
Game 6: Moore County National vs. Wilmington Winter Park, 2 p.m.

Sunday, July 7
Game 7: Game 5 loser vs. Game 6 loser, 12:30 p.m.
Game 8: Game 3 loser vs. Game 4 loser, 12:30 p.m.
Game 9: Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser, 2:30 p.m.
Game 10: Game 5 winner vs. Game 6 winner, 2:30 p.m.
Game 11: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner, 4:30 p.m.
Game 12: Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner, 4:30 p.m.
