WILLIAMSTON – Nash County defeated Bladen County 12-2 Saturday in an elimination game in the State-Wide Activities Committee State Softball Tournament. Onslow County had defeated Bladen County 14-1 earlier Saturday morning.
Johanna Parker connected for 3 hits in the two games to lead the Bladen County hitters. Teammates Alayna Weeks, Abbie Cross, Olivia Hollingsworth and Jordan Kinlaw belted 2 hits each.
