Stolen Go-Cart Recovered from Clarkton Man


Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detectives made an arrest today of a Clarkton man who had possession of a go-cart that had been reported stolen from the Lisbon area on May 28.  Information was received from a citizen as to the stolen property location.

Arrested was Jeremey Octavia Johnson, B/M/29 of 456 Booker T. Washington School Road in Clarkton.  Johnson has been charged with the following:

  • (1)Count of Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
  • (1)Count of Breaking and Entering
  • (1)Count of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle

Bond is currently set at $5,000.00 secured, and Johnson is placed in the Bladen County Detention Center.
