NASHVILLE- The National Football League announced Thursday night that the Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans game that was scheduled for Sunday has been rescheduled for Tuesday night at 7 p.m. EDT and will be televised by CBS. Elizabethtown’s Larrell Murchison is a member of the Titans.

According to the NFL, the scheduling decision was made “to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts.”

Saturday after two straight days of negative tests, the Titans returned to the practice field for the first time since prior to the team’s Week 4 contest at Minnesota. However due to rain and storms around Nashville their practice was moved inside.

A total of 14 Titan players – 10 from the active list and 4 from the practice squad – have been placed on the team’s Reserve/COVID-19 list. However a couple of those players have since come off the COVID-19 list.

Titans Coach Mike Vrabel told tennesseetitans.com that “the guys have tried to stay engaged in meetings (this week) via Zoom, and I think our coaches continue to do a great job of coaching. We are excited to be back in the building to continue our prep for Buffalo.”

The Titans Week 4 game against Pittsburgh was rescheduled from October 4th until October 25th.
