Over 60 golfers participated in the Super Bowl 2-Man Texas Scramble held Saturday at Vineyard Golf. The First Flight was won by Sam and Ben Canady who shot a 64. Second place was won by Trent Palmer and Derrick Zoot who also had a 64.
The Second Flight was won by Brian Heymore and Stephen Blackwell. Second place went to Billy Augustine, Jr. and Robbie Owens. Both teams shot 70.The Third Flight was won by George Boussious and Jim Hancock with a 76. In second place, also with a 76, was David Faircloth and Kent Fisher. All winners were determined by a scorecard playoff.
Closest to the pin winners were Justin Britt, Sam Canady (2) and Linwood Hedgepeth.
The putting contest was won by Luke Gooden.
