Suspects wanted for theft of a dog

By Charlotte Smith

On Sunday a blue, female, pit bull dog was stolen from the area of Chicken Foot Road and Calvin Tyson Road in St. Pauls near Tar Heel, according to the owner. Investigator Greg Bullard with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance.
“I think some of the people in the area may be able to identify the two suspects,” Investigator Bullard said.
The white, female in the photos has blonde or maybe strawberry blonde hair, and is seen smoking a cigarette, Bullard explained.
The white male has short light color hair and wears his pants below his waste. Both suspects appear to be slender. The two are wearing clothing in the photos that may make it easier to identify them.
The two are captured in photos during the crime. The male suspect is seen jumping behind the fence to retrieve the dog. The female is photoed taking the dog off the property. The dog is valued at $500 up to $3000 according to professionals in the field.

If anyone has any information about the theft of the dog, please contact the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office at 910-862-6960 or Investigator Bullard at 910-862-6947.
