White Lake, NC – The Town of White Lake asks motorists to please be advised that White Lake Dr (SR 1515) will be temporarily closed to traffic from Alexander Street to Sapphire Dr on Saturday, 11 September 2021, from 4 pm to 12 am. The road is closed to ensure the safety of all concertgoers taking part in the September 11th Country Concert to benefit Fire and Police pursuant to the authority granted by NCGS 20-169.
During the closure, traffic controllers will be in attendance at Alexander St and Sapphire Drive corners to provide navigation assistance. Through traffic will be diverted back to W William St on the Alexander side, and a turnaround area will be provided on the Sapphire side. Concert ticket holders are strongly encouraged to park at designated parking areas identified by the event promoter.
The Town of White Lake is working closely with the NC Highway Patrol, NC Wildlife Resources Commission, NC State Parks, Bladen County Sheriff’s Department, Bladen County Emergency Services, and several local agencies to provide a safe, memorable concert experience for all residents and visitors.
