Spread the love

My family and I are so fortunate and blessed to live in such a considerate and compassionate community. I have to start out by saying that I am truly amazed by all of the love and support I have received since being diagnosed with colon cancer.

Our lives have changed immensely since that frightening, confusing, life-changing day in November. It almost feels like our lives went on “pause,” and have been on pause ever since. It all happened so fast but the kindness and generosity of our community made this life changing event bearable.

I cannot express how thankful my family and I are for the support during one of the most difficult challenges that I’ve had to face.  I have had countless friends, family and co-workers help me out financially and emotionally and we know that we could never begin to repay everyone for all the kindness that has been endowed on our family.

Our family has a lot of kindness to pay forward in the days ahead. I believe  that all of you were a huge part of my journey because of all the prayers. Each one of you has a special place in my heart because cancer will change you and set your life’s course in directions you never have imagined. So, if going through colon cancer is one of the toughest challenges that I have to go through in my life, all of you have made it that much easier to cope with.

Once again please accept my family’s sincere thanks and know we are truly humble and appreciative to everyone involved in planning or preparing things to benefit our family. We give God all the glory for preparing us for this journey by allowing loving, devoted and passionate people in our lives. Lastly, just remember No one fights Alone- Robby Strong.
