1lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon salt
1 can (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms stems & pieces, drained
1/3 cut, pitted ripe olives
1 cup (4 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
Brown ground beef and onion on frying pan in grill;remove absorbent paper and season with salt. Pour off drippings, leaving pan “greased”. Separate triangles of a crescent roll dough, place in pan to form circle, and press edge together to form a crust with a rim.
Spread half of the pizza sauce on the dough. Place ground. Beef over dough. Top with mushrooms and olives. Pour remaining sauce over meat and vegetables; sprinkle with shredded cheese and leaf oregano.
Cover pan security with aluminum foil, cook on the grill at moderate temperature 20 to 30 minutes or until dough is brown. 4 servings.
