PROSPECTIVE FOSTER / ADOPTIVE PARENTS

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be 21 years of age or older
2. Good physical and mental health
3. Personality must be suitable for children
REQUIREMENTS:

1. Fire and safety inspection of the home (cost $50.00)
2. Fingerprints of all household members eighteen and over
3. Criminal record checks
4. Physical on all household members **Prospective foster / adoptive
parents are responsible for cost
5. MAPP / GPS (30 hours of pre-service training)
6. Home Study
7. CPR / First Aide
8. Medication Administration
9. Universal Precautions
CAPACITY RULES:

1. Cannot have more than seven children in the home at any given time:
this includes day care children.
2. Cannot have more than five foster children in the home.
