Bladen County Health Department staff are now administering the “booster” (third doses) of Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to those eligible by appointment only. (see eligibility below) Consult with your healthcare provider about your medical condition, and whether getting an additional dose is appropriate for you.

Bladen County Health and Human Services Director Dr. Teresa Duncan released the latest COVID-19 update today. The Bladen County and North Carolina numbers include COVID-19 related cases since the Pandemic started in Bladen County in 2020. Currently, there are 28 Bladen County residents hospitalized due to COVID-19 associated issues. View the graph below for more information.

According the Bladen County Health officials, it is critical that unvaccinated and partially vaccinated people get fully vaccinated to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and its more severe outcomes. Nearly all cases of severe disease, hospitalization, and death continue to occur among those not fully vaccinated.

The Bladen County Health Department administers COVID-19 vaccines Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4 pm.
