2001—Two passenger planes hijacked by terrorists crash into New York’s World Trade Center Towers causing the collapse of both and death of 2,752.

2001—Terrorist hijack a passenger plan and crash it into the Pentagon causing the death of 125 people.

2001—Attempt by passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93 to retake control of their hijacked plane from terrorists causes plane to crash in Pennsylvania field killing all 64 people onboard.

2012—The US is warned by Moody’s that its AAA credit rating is at risk if lawmakers fail to produce a long-term debt reduction plan.

2014—A 2 vehicle crash near Bladen Community College leaves Janice Johnson of Elizabethtown in critical condition. She has been bed ridden since, but continues to recuperate in a Burgaw, NC hospital.
