This is the day NFL fans have been waiting all season, Super Bowl Sunday. Philadelphia Eagles vs New England Patriots. Game time is 6:30 on NBC. The two teams met 13 years ago. The Patriots won 20-17 and are favored by most in todays encounter.
The game will be played in U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN. Al Michaels will do the play-by-play, Chris Collinsworth is analyst and Michele Tafoya will be the sideline reporter.
Bitter sweet for many fans in Minnesota. Would be better if the hometown Vikings were playing.
Thank goodness for an inside stadium.
Many TV fans will be glued to the tube all day long listening to talk shows coming out of DC, not me. Lord, bring the country together, don’t need more controversy, less would be better.
The groundhog did not see his shadow, and it the old tale is true, winter is extended. Actually the forecast for the next week to 10 days looks pretty good. with highs in the upper 50 and low 60s and lows from mid to upper 20 to mid 30s, not bad for February.
Can you believe, farmers will be getting down to serious business in the next few weeks as they prepare for the 2018 crop year.
Filing for political office begins a week from Monday, February 12. Who will file and will any incumbents step aside? Time will tell. The filing season continues through the end of the month.
Good to see high school athletes who have excelled in various sports being honored for their achievements.
