Seems I am spending more time apologizing for mistakes, forgetfulness, you name it….
The threat of rain, including possible thunderstorms and wind over the next several days, has caused several events scheduled for this weekend to be postponed….
Check before you head out to make sure scheduled events are still a “go.” The possibility of rain, is between 30% and 50% through Wednesday……
Guess we have all driven by the huge white building near Smithfield Foods at Tar Heel, and wonder what is inside…I made that trip Thursday, along with several others…and will share pics with all…Trust me, “Baby It’s Cold Inside.”
I think back…..about walking a long distance to meet the school bus….on a rainy, windy day, it was no fun…We were sharecroppers, so we lived in many houses over a relativity small area near Bladenboro….On one occasion, after a long walk to meet the bus, I placed my lunch, a banana sandwich, on the edge of the road and a huge truck ran over my brown paper bag and my sandwich was ‘flattened.” I know, that had nothing to do with weather…Just another thought from the past….
