Thoughts While Shaving

Thoughts While ShavingThis will be one very busy day for White Lake Festival organizers and one huge day for all who attend…The 37th Annual White Lake Water Festival.

We have listed the entire line-up of activities on BladenOnline…The weather promises to be perfect, today and tomorrow and there will be activities for all ages…A Parade, Music, Games, Food,  White Lake is the place to be TODAY.

Remember when it was the NC Blueberry Festival?  There was a King and Queen of the festival…General Motors provided about 5 or 6 convertibles to be used for a few days prior to the festival and for the parade…

If my memory is correct, a beauty contest was held at Elizabethtown High School…or is my memory playing tricks…After all, it was in the mid to late 1970’s.

The White Lake Water Festival is the product of much hard work by many…and Today Is Festival Day at White Lake, NC and you are invited, encouraged to attend…Parade begins at 10 near or on NC 53 and will travel around the lake and end near the Scotsman on US 701.  Need to be in place early…

Remember when you pulled into to a service station and someone pumped your gas and cleaned you windshield?  Probably about the time the White Lake Water Festival was organized…

A fella said to the doctor: “What’s the good news?” “You’ve got 24 hours to live.” He says: “What’s the bad news?” And the doc says: “We should have told you yesterday.”

My resume is basically just a list of things I hate to do.

There really needs to be a day between Saturday and Sunday

You never realize what you have until it’s gone.  Toilet paper, for example…or my spellcheck.
