Thoughts While ShavingIf you enjoy hot weather, this is your kinda day….Hot, use caution.
Short report on sickness and death…As I grow older, guess I pay more attention…
Longtime businessman Robert Jessup died Saturday following a lengthy illness.  He was owner of Jessup Motors in E-town for years…Dorothy Pait Johnson apparently burned to death in a Hartsville, SC fire.  She was the daughter of Ralph and Leola (Miss Leola to many).  Miss Leola celebrated her 100th birthday late last year and died earlier this year.  Dot and several of her siblings lived in the Darlington, Hartsville area for most of their adult lives.
And went to see my longtime walking ‘buddy’ yesterday.  Janice Johnson and I walked together for 27 years prior to her accident near Dublin on 9/11/14.  For the past 9 months she has been bed-ridden, now in an extended care unit in Burgaw.  Janice tells me she is doing better, and I believe her, and wants to come home, and I hope she can.  Still has problems with the left side of body…but she reminds me she is tough….A good soul who grew up in Butters…
Sorry, just had numerous questions about all…Others are losing friends and there is much sickness…We all hope and pray for the best…
Bladen Mission 2015, an interdenominational local mission project, begins today.  The sponsors have had a big ‘surge’ of Junior and Senior High students join up.  They will be doing projects in the area over the next 3 days….Maybe a little late to sign up, but if you need info on anything related to the project, call 910-874-0601.  Can not think of a better way for students and adults to spend their time.  Headquarters will be Wesley’s Chapel UMC multi-purpose building on Peanut Plant Road, Elizabethtown.
