This morning, in our community, there was no standing water in the ditches, and a few sprinkles of rain… More rain is expected to day…. Saw rainfall amounts yesterday of 3 to over 5 inches..At the end of the year, rainfall totals are likely to be 48 to 50 inches….

The annual meeting of Bladen County Committee of 100 was well attended considering a “flood” occurred at meeting time…. The Committee of 100 continues to play an important role in economic efforts in the county.
Been asked about football broadcast this year… Yes, we will be broadcasting on WODR-105.3 Whitevlle and BladenOnline…. same as last few years… In the meantime, coaches Robby Priest at East Bladen and Russell Dove at West Bladen are working hard to make this year a good one… for the team and fans…
