The 23rd Annual Dublin Peanut Festival is fast approaching….Saturday, September 19, the parade kicks-off at 10 a.m. and festivities continue all day long….Google Dublin Peanut Festival for the complete lineup….Included is the Blackwater Rhythm and Blues Band, Band of Oz, The Mighty Echoes, Classic Car Show, and a BBQ plate sale beginning at 11 a.m. It’s huge and you do not want to miss….Proceeds are shared with so many do-good organizations that make a difference in this area….
Ever think about people you would like to meet? I would like to meet the Pope…I am not a Catholic but always admired the Pope….would love to have met the young Yogi Berra…..and would enjoy tracing my footsteps across the state as I did for 25 years…Oh, so many of those I worked with have retired or moved on…..Guess I should just enjoy the memories….
Remember when bills were received on the 1st of the month and due on the 10th…now bills arrive daily, all month long and are due when they are received.
The grass is not growing as fast with cooler temps…but still needs care…Frost usually arrives the last week in October….
Halloween is a little over a month away, Thanksgiving just a little over 2 months away and Christmas is a little over 3 months away…
