Monday night football is on the agenda….East and West Bladen games were postponed last Friday night. East Bladen travels to Midway and West Bladen will be at Union for 7 p.m. games….The Bladen Sports Network will be at Midway High School. High School soccer today….Wallace-Rose Hill at East Bladen and West Bladen at Clinton…both at 6 p.m. The recently suspended Middle School football game between Tar Heel and Bladenboro will be completed today …at Bladenboro at 6 p.m.

Sad news this weekend….4 killed and 2 injured in a one vehicle crash near the Bladen-Sampson County line south of Garland.

Congratulations to Cade Hancock…He captured the Myrtle Beach Junior Open Golf Tournament for his age group shooting rounds of 75 & 72…Saturday and Sunday.
Revival services are underway or will be over the next few weeks at several churches in the area…..including Wesley’s Chapel UMC near Elizabethtown…..Services began last night and continue through Wednesday night with Rev. Eckie Lancaster preaching….Services begin nightly at 7 p.m.

The only thing I hate more than having a dirty house is cleaning.

If you’re lost in the woods and have no compass, wait for autumn—birds will fly to the south.

Concerning the absence of toilet paper, there should be complaint books laid out at publicly used places.
