West Bladen football team lost to Wallace-Rose Hill last night, check our sports page. The East Bladen at Clinton game is likely on the casualty list…We will share cancellations throughout the weekend….
The Elwell Ferry near Kelly is “out of business” for a few days, ’til the flood is over and the river returns to more normal conditions…
Latest on Barry White….Elizabethtown businessman……Duke surgery that was scheduled for late Thursday morning finally began late yesterday afternoon and was completed around 9 p.m. last night….A long rehab is on his agenda…and hopefully no infection…He was seriously injured last week on a vehicle accident in Robeson County….The family continues to ask for prayer for his recovery.
