Been thinking about some new words added to our vocabulary over the past few years…and some that we no longer hear..
New words, either added to or so to be included in the dictionary, fantazing–fantastic and amazing; butt dial—a verb–to place a call on a cell phone accidentally (such as by sitting on the cell phone), and selfiediction–an addiction to taking selfies (taking your own picture)….Just a few of many.
Some words we seldom hear…panacea–a solution for all problems; ripple–a very small wave; there are many others including …becoming, fetching, etc…
Tonight, the West Bladen Knights (3-3,6-4) travel to East Bladen (4-2, 8-2) for the final regular season game of the year for both teams…Both teams will likely advance in the state playoffs…but a win by either would enhance their seeding in the playoffs….Gametime is 7:30 p.m. Hope to see you there.. Bladen Sports Network will broadcast the game….but it is more fun at the game…
Weatherwise, should be a great night for football. Mostly cloudy with temps in the high 60s to low 70s at gametime..
